Rosneft was declared the best Russian company in the area of investor relations

Rosneft became laureate of the IR Magazine Russia & CIS Awards 2016 and was declared the best Russian large cap company in the area of investor relations following the results of 2015.

Award winners are determined on the basis of an independent annual study 2016 Extel Survey, conducted by the British agency Extel among investors and analysts of investment banks and rating agencies. Based on the results obtained during the voting nominee lists with the best representatives of IR industry of Russia were prepared. More than 20,000 representatives of the investment community have participated in Extel surveys.

In order to increase shareholder value Rosneft performs constant work on enhancing intensity and quality of interaction with the investment community, defining attractive investment story, introducing best global practices with regard to transparency.

Enhanced efficiency of interaction with investors, investment banks and rating agencies analysts was appreciated by the market. Since the beginning of 2015, market quotation of the company has been showing positive dynamics: the share price at the London Stock Exchange rose by 48%, overtaking the leading indices MSCI World Oil & Gas and MSCI Russia by 33 and 27 percentage points respectively. In the spring 2016 the company became the first in Russia by market capitalization of 55 billion dollars.
